Are you a financial enthusiast who loves dogs and identifies as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community? We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to become our Volunteer Treasurer. Rainbow Pooch Pride brings the LGBTQIA+ community together through their shared love of dogs. In the tapestry of our organisation, your financial expertise will weave the threads of stability and success as we continue our mission to bring joy to our community and their furry companions.
Your Role, Your Impact:
As a Volunteer Treasurer, your commitment extends to attending four quarterly Management Committee meetings and one Annual General Meeting, providing valuable insights that will shape the trajectory of Rainbow Pooch Pride. While our Project Manager handles day-to-day financial operations, your role will be pivotal as the second signatory authorising purchases and ensuring meticulous oversight of budgets and cash flow.
Strategic Financial Stewardship:
Your strategic oversight will extend to annual accounts, supporting the Project Manager to maintain financial accuracy and compliance. Your financial acumen will guide budgetary decisions, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our organization.
Qualities We Seek:
We are looking for an individual with financial expertise or relevant experience, a commitment to attend crucial meetings, strong organizational and communication skills, and, most importantly, a passion for the Rainbow Pooch Pride mission.
